As the youngest member of a family of five, Anwar encountered his fair share of obstacles. Despite not making the university cut-off grade, he staunchly refused to let academic setbacks dictate his destiny. In 2021, Anwar took a bold step, enrolling at the Mabati Technical Training Institute (MTTI), eager to forge a new trajectory for himself.
Opting for a career in industrial skills, Anwar completed a General Fitter course at Grade 3 level. Undaunted by challenges, he continued to push his limits, entering Turning Grade 3 in 2022, and demonstrating commendable dedication to self-improvement.
Anwar’s journey took a significant turn when he secured an internship at Brollo Keya Limited from January to March 2023. This hands-on experience not only sharpened his technical skills but also provided valuable insights into the practical application of his education. Anwar’s commitment did not go unnoticed, and his subsequent internship at Kalu Works Limited from June to September 2023 further solidified his position in the industrial sector.
In December 2023, Anwar proudly joined the ranks of Sarazo Limited, marking the commencement of his professional career. His transition from academic struggles to gainful employment stands as a testament to his tenacity and the transformative potential of vocational training.
Anwar remains grateful for the opportunities his education has afforded him. He acknowledges the pivotal support from DP Shah, one of the founders of the Safal MRM Foundation, who sponsored him during his General Fitter course. This financial assistance proved to be a turning point in Anwar’s life, setting him on the path to success.
Looking ahead, Anwar is resolute in leveraging his newfound employment to earn and save, with the ultimate goal of advancing his education. His sights are set on achieving economic independence, and he stands ready to overcome any obstacle in his pursuit of success.
