Medical Care: A Right, Not a Privilege
Guided by the principles of the Helsinki Declaration, we uphold that access to medical care is a fundamental human right. Every individual deserves timely and affordable healthcare, free of stigma or discrimination.
Advancing the Fight Against HIV/AIDS
Incredible strides have been made in managing HIV/AIDS. In Kenya, the government provides free antiretroviral (ARV) medication and contraceptives, empowering individuals to lead healthy lives. With proper adherence to treatment, people living with HIV can thrive.
Empowering Youth Through Awareness
Ignorance and lack of awareness have fueled higher HIV/AIDS prevalence rates among youth in Mariakani. At Mabati Medical Centre, we believe prevention starts with education. Our Adolescents and Youth Friendly Clinic serves as a safe space to learn, share, and discuss HIV prevention and management amongst other pressing health challenges affecting the youth. With the support of a dedicated psychologist, we empower adolescents and youth alike to make informed decisions about their sexual and reproductive health.

Protecting Future Generations
Our Mother-Child Health Clinic works tirelessly to prevent HIV transmission from mother to child. One successful case highlights the impact of early testing, diagnosis, and safe practices. We urge expectant mothers to get tested, as prevention is both possible and life-changing for future generations.
Breaking Barriers, One Step at a Time
Social and cultural norms have continued to impede fruitful discussions around sexual and reproductive health talks, especially among children. These topics are not inculcated into our education systems, and parents equally shy away from them. These obstacles should never prevent access to HIV/AIDS education or treatment. Mabati Medical Centre champions open conversations and affordable healthcare, fostering an inclusive environment where stigma has no place.
Partnering for Progress
We are committed to walking alongside every patient on their HIV/AIDS journey. To support our cause, you can reach out to collaborate with us on how we can make strides toward ending HIV/AIDS as a public health threat by 2030. Your contributions will go a long way in achieving this goal by UNAIDS.
Let’s break the stigma, empower the youth, and champion healthcare for all.
