Sparking Collaborative Growth: Safal MRM Foundation Hosts Powerhouse Partners’ Projects Visit in Mariakani

In a monumental step toward fostering collaborative efforts for sustainable development, the Safal MRM Foundation hosted a dynamic two-day partners’ projects visit in Mariakani on January 21 and 22, 2025. The event brought together a powerhouse of organizations and stakeholders, united by a shared vision to drive meaningful impact through education, health, environment, and shelter initiatives.

The visit provided a platform for insightful conversations, networking opportunities, and a deep dive into the transformative work being carried out by the Foundation. The impressive turnout and interactive sessions underscored the collective commitment to creating positive change in communities across Kenya.

Showcasing Impactful Initiatives

Guided tours of key projects, including the Mabati Medical Centre, Mabati Technical Training Institute (MTTI), permaculture gardens, and the vanilla farming project, offered guests firsthand insights into Safal MRM Foundation’s impact in Kilifi-Kenya. The Foundation’s initiatives are tailored to empower youth, promote environmental sustainability, and provide access to quality healthcare and technical vocational training.

The Mabati Medical Centre’s healthcare services, combined with MTTI’s commitment to equipping youth with technical skills, demonstrated Safal MRM Foundation’s holistic approach to addressing community needs. Partners and potential partners were particularly impressed by the innovative projects and the emphasis on gender integration in technical courses at MTTI.

Organizations such as Young Scientists Kenya, KCB Foundation, Nation Media Foundation, and Dawa Life Sciences, Standard Chartered among others, expressed interest in collaborating to strengthen youth empowerment, financial literacy, and technical training initiatives.

Discussions on, community empowerment, risk management, future innovations in agriculture, telemedicine, and alumni engagement further enriched the dialogue, with partners pledging their support to amplify the Foundation’s impact.
